WTJU hosts nearly 100 live performances each year, featuring a wide range of talent from local artists to internationally touring bands. As the station's senior engineer, Ben Larsen oversees its flagship programs, including Offbeat Roadhouse, The Third Rail, and the annual fundraiser marathon broadcasts.

  • This series invites a different musical group to the station each Friday night for an hour-long concert live from WTJU’s performance space. Over the years, the show has welcomed an impressive lineup of talent from Grammy Award winners, Bluegrass and Folk legends, and emerging artists.

  • A monthly concert series curated by the station’s rock department highlights acts from all over including underground punk acts to genre-bending experimental groups.

  • Four times a year, one of the WTJU music departments takes over the airways for a whole week. This week includes 24/7 curated special programming and several fundraising live concerts for the station’s stage and in the community.
